Safe

Last Sunday during Sacrament, a bomb was dropped on us informing us that the stake will be re-doing the ward boundaries.

We had to wait until yesterday to find out if we were being moved or not.

We live so close to the boundary to another stake (362 is our address and 375 is the boundary!!!!) and we are only a half mile off of being in another ward. And it is down a canal road so if they squared it to the mile we would have been affected!
So I was pretty stressed all week.

Every time Troy and I would talk about it, I would become more and more stressed. I love my ward. I didn't want to move out of it!

We just had one huge stake meeting where we were delivered the news. As soon as I saw the map and knew we were safe I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders.
This was the first time I have EVER had to go through ward boundary changes and I don't ever want to have to go through it again. ;)

Parker was so tired that he only lasted an hour (out of the hour and a half meeting) that the kids and I left early. I took a nice long nap when I got home and slept nice and soundly.

We have been through three different ward boundary changes. It is tough to be told to change. Nobody understands that unless they have been through it themselves.
It's hard to leave the friends you've made in a ward and start over with different people.
Glad you were safe this time!
