{Anticipation}

All the warm days we had last week made me excited for summer.

Mostly because I can't wait to pull the boat out and hit the Snake. Last year was fun going out on the river, but being preggo put a little bit of a downer on owning a boat.

{Picture taken last spring right after we bought the boat....}

BUT the lovely Idaho weather made my anticipation even worse teasing me and turning to cold, rainy/snowy weather again.

Come on summer!

{Happy St. Patrick's Day 2012}

My kids are sporting their green shirts today to avoid the pinches.

For lunch, everything I made some how 'magically' turned green.
Taylor walked in saw the green biscuits on the counter and the green mac & cheese I was mixing up and freaked out!

She was crying so much Troy had to tell her that is was just green food coloring. She was 'okay' with it after that, but wasn't too impressed.

Parker could have cared less....

{Smothered}

{Valentines 2012}

Poor little Paige, she is always getting smothered by these two stinkers.

Good thing she likes their attention and isn't a too over stimulated baby or we would be having some serious issues! ;)

There have been many fights and bickers between the two older kids over who gets to talk to Paige and LOTS of tears because Paige is looking at the other one (Mostly Taylor freaking out that Paige looks at Parker).

I guess it's better that they love her TOO much instead of not loving her at all! :)

Sorry Troy

I just had to post these!
Going through pictures (and making ooodles of posts!) I forgot I had taken these one night.

From the mouth of Troy: " Business in front. Party in back."

HAHHAHAHAH

Minus 2

On Feb. 9th Taylor let me pull out her second baby tooth.

I can not believe she is old enough to be losing teeth!
She is (as expected) a little drama queen over the whole ordeal, but she sure is excited to wake up to find the tooth fairy had made a visit!

I am a little sad how her 'losing teeth' happens. She doesn't have the typical 'gap' that you would expect. Instead her other tooth grows in BEHIND her baby tooth (kind of creepy for a while!) then moves forward to a normal position once her baby tooth is out.

Looks like she never lost a tooth. I always want to sing the "All I want for Christmas" in a toothless lisp to her, but it's just silly when she never really has that issue...... :)

{Story Time}

It's an understatement to say the kids love Paige.
The L.O.V.E her. A LOT.

It's so awesome to watch Taylor learn to read. She is getting pretty good. One day while I was trying to get things done and Paige was being a little fussy I asked Taylor to lay with her and read her a book. Of course, she was more than happy too....

It just melted my heart.

Of course Parker had to join in on the fun.....

These kiddos may drive me bonkers at times, but I sure do love them!

Crazy Hair Day

Two weeks ago was Taylor's 'spirit' week at school.

She loved dressing up every day. Of course Crazy Hair day was her favorite day.

I had ordered some green hair paint but it didn't get here on time (it showed up the afternoon I needed it!) So I pulled out the pink/red/purple & blue I already had in the cupboard and just sprayed her hair all funky. She loved it.

Rose garden is what she called it:
