Yesterday was such a great day....My sister-in-law Christy (the one that married Jason back in September) was baptized!
She has been such a wonderful companion for my brother! I was so surprised back in February when I learned that she and my brother had been going to church and then when she was getting baptized I couldn't have been happier! As far back as I can remember I don't remember my brother ever going to church so I am so proud of him for making the decision to go back!
My Dad was asked to be the one to baptize her and I even was asked to talk on the Holy Ghost. I did find it weird though that the missionaries there weren't very 'friendly' they never said a word to me and Melissa said they never talked to her either so it was quite weird.
After the big event we all went back to their house for some good food! Food always makes any event just that much sweeter!
