Thursday/Friday

It was my family's turn for the rotation to meet all together.
We all met at Melissa's house and had a wonderful dinner. There was tons of good food, lots of little ones running around and family to boot!

We had lots of little sleepy heads on our hands because there was too much going on that they didn't want to miss out on a single thing! Our daughter on the other hand decided she wanted to start working on her two year molars, run a fever and become Miss Cranky Pants! She only took about a 20 minute nap and that was during dinner and it had to be in my arms. Poor thing!

After dinner, the men took the kids downstairs and the women pulled out the paint and did some crafts. We didn't get them completely done (Troy didn't get me a message to pick up some supplies and the vinyl lettering got left in SLC) but as soon as they are complete I will post some pics! I think they are so cute! :)

Friday morning was off to early morning shopping! All us women left the kids with their Dad's and hit Wal-Mart first...at 4:30! We all got what we were going in for! Melissa's husband wanted to go (surprising!) as we were standing in line Melissa and I were informing David of the game plan...the best way to get to where the tv was that they wanted and to where we will be going off to. He thought we were crazy and completely insane when we told him we will be in and out in about 20 minutes. He totally thought we were going to be in there for a couple hours! We called him about 15 minutes into the whole thing asking where he was and he told us he had got the tv, paid for it and is now waiting outside....those women are crazy people! He was totally shocked!

After Wal-Mart we were off to Twin to hit a few more stores...Target was crazy!!
We were done shopping and home by 1:00 for naps! ;) Taylor's Christmas shopping is officially complete!
Later that night Troy and I went to his sister Maria's for dinner and some family chatting. Of course Taylor is still teething so she had her moments of grumpiness in the mix of the visit.

It is crazy because it feels like it shouldn't be Thanksgiving yet, let alone the Christmas season starting! I am not quite in the mood to get all the decorations out yet, maybe it's because I don't want to have to constantly keep Taylor out of the tree! :)

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

You are brave to go out on Black Friday. You can't pay me enough money to get up at 4am to go run in a store with hundreds of other people just to save $4 on a Barbie-ok they probably have better deal then that but still. Plus Andy is never home the day after Thanksgiving. When you work in a retail store you are requiered to be at work from 4am till 10 at night and unfortunatly my husband has worked in a retail store our whole married life. That's great you got your shopping done for Taylor, one thing out of the way!
