"Stumblin' Mason"

I wish I had some funny stories to tell about all the Wilkins' kids, but Mason was the only one that was pretty funny! Pain in the bum when it came to eat, but funny!

Our church starts at 11:30 gets out at 2:30-Mason's nap is usually right after lunch so during singing time in Primary (around 2:00) he was getting pretty sleepy! I was in the back of the Primary room supervising Taylor while she was making a mess when I noticed the Sunbeam teacher turned around trying to get my attention. She mouths, "He's falling asleep!" I went to go get him, but she says he's fine and she just kind of taps him once in awhile.I kept a watch on him seeing his head fall back then him catching it and jerking it up. Then it would slowly fall forward only to have the teacher tap him to wake him up. This continues until he gets to stand up and go home. (funny to see!)

Once the herd was rounded up we head out to the suburban to go home. All the older kids were already in just leaving Mason and Taylor to be put into carseats. I was on one side strapping Taylor in and Mason on the other side climbing into his seat. I look down for two seconds only to see Mason falling out of the car out of the corner of my eye! I walk around the car to check on him and he is just on all fours kind of stunned with what just happened! All the older kids were unbuckled leaning over the backseat laughing and checking on their younger brother. I still don't know if he just slipped out or was barely awake trying to get in.

Then we are home, changed out of our church clothes and at the table eating. Once again, Troy and I are struggling to get Mason to quit talking and start eating when out of no where he is silent then falls out of his chair pretty much into my lap! This kid is having a rough day! After we are done eating I sent him straight into the office to lay down and take a nap! He needed it! :)

Sounds like there must have been a wild and late party at your house Saturday night!
