This weekend Troy and I are watching Ryan and Maren's kids while they are in McCall. So far all the older kids are still in school so I currently only have Mason.
Having two kids to look after has been pretty easy (the age difference of 2 1/2 years helps). We were finishing up lunch and I gave a handful of M&M's to Taylor and some to Troy. Mason wasn't finished eating yet, so we set his handful to the side. We told Mason he had to eat three more tator tots in order to get his M&M's. He was kind of laughing and not eating so Troy said "Once I finish my pile of M&M's I am going to keep moving on to your pile." I thought it would be a good "threat" but Mason thought it was funny. After a few minutes of getting him to eat Troy made a deal to just eat one of the three. I didn't see really what happened (I was putting the dishes in the dishwasher) but Troy says, "What the Heck!" I turn around to see that Mason had thrown up all over the table! We wipe up the mess and I ask Mason if he feels alright. He looks at me with watery eyes (Probably from puking) and says, "Can I have my M&M's now?" Too funny! He got his M&M's and after he was done he ran around the house for a good 15 minutes until nap time, not even phased by the ill moments before. Good ol' Mason!
