Friday and Saturday was our ward Girls camp. And Taylor got to tag along! We left early Friday morning and went up the Ogden canyon, where we literally pulled off the side of the rode and went for an hour and a half hike. It was long and hot but so gorgeous! I managed to carry Taylor the whole time and she was all smiles and just looked around at all the scenery. She did take a little cat nap so she became a lot heavier at that time! After our hike we went up to Snow Basin and took the Gondola to the top of the mountain, where we ate lunch then everyone took another hour hike and went to the top of that mountain which overlooked Ogden, but Taylor and I, along with two girls stayed behind so Taylor could stay in the lodge and take a decent nap. After all the hiking/sweating we went back to the condos we were staying at and took a dip in the pool. We had a BBQ and an awesome testimony meeting at one of the leaders sister's house. Taylor was so tired that she fell asleep at 7:00 on our way to Maryanne's (the sister's house) and never woke up through all of me moving her from carseat to a crib at Maryanne's, back to her carseat to go to the condos, then back to the playpen! She woke up at 3 to be fed, but fell asleep quickly and I had to WAKE her up at 8 so I could get her ready to leave!! She was so worn out!! Saturday we started our day touring David O. McKay's home in Huntsville then we went to SLC and toured the conference center and made our way to see the new Joseph Smith movie (SO GOOD!) We had a good dinner at Olive Garden and headed home- I was so ready! I could barely stay awake when I got home to finish watching Eight Below (we started it on the ride home)I was so glad that Taylor was a happy content baby throughout the whole trip or it would have been horrible, but she was very good and barely made a peep. It was an extremely short "camp" but it was so fun and spiritual. Plus I didn't have to try to "rough" it with an infant! :)
