A Sister's {Love}

Probably 75% of the time that Parker is awake Taylor is making him cry. She is very mean to him.

I think something might have *clicked* with her this week because she's not as mean to him (or maybe it's because she knows Mom's patience is pretty thin because I have been cleaning up diarrhea messes all week long?!?!?!?)

Yesterday morning, as I was cleaning up (my 100th) diaper explosion Parker was not happy with me because I left him on the floor to wash out his dirty clothes and my hands. Usually he follows behind me crying, but with him being sick he just lays there until I go to him.

After a few minutes his crying stopped.

I went to see why and that is when my heart about burst and tears found their way to my eyes.

There she was laying next to her sick little brother on the floor with her arm across his little chest, rubbing his head, and telling him "It's okay, It's okay."

Ten minutes later as I am rocking my little one, Taylor runs up to me and hands Parker his favorite two toys....Both Littlest Pet Shop animals. The blue bird and the green turtle.
The same two toys that she always rips out of his hands because they are hers! (The turtle is NOT! Papa Wilkins gave Parker $ for his birthday so the turtle was purchased with it.)
He takes them from her and gives her a little smile as he drifts to sleep.

It's a completely different feeling seeing how loving and nice two siblings can be to one another.

Hopefully, when Parker is 100% better and runs around with her she continues on this nice streak.

**On a side note: A week full of throw up, diarrhea, always sleeping and no eating became a little un-nerving so I made an appointment to see the doctor. We left the office with a double ear infection.

Wasn't expecting that one! Dr. Klett is considering having tubes put in the little ones ears.

Poor thing. It's been a long week for him! He has lost almost two pounds since our last Dr.'s visit 5 weeks ago!

What a sweet story. I hope she's just not nice because he is sick. I hope she stays nice with him after he gets well. I hope he feels better soon. Happy Mother's Day to you!

Poor little guy, hope things get better. As for Taylor, sounds like she just might have a soft spot for her little bro after all..so cute!

Pais also has the double ear infection and that dang amoxicillin is what is giving her the poopy mess, I have a love hate relationship with drugs! How many ear infections has Parker had?

What a sweet story. I'm sorry you have been dealing with sickness all week. It wears me out with only one little kid. I can't imagine two. I'm glad to hear that Taylor was being a big help. I hope Parker is feeling better soon and I hope Monday won't be too much of a problem.
