Walking Buddies

Meet my walking buddies....

But walking down the road the stroller usually looks like this....

The other day when we left the yard we gained another walking buddy...

The entire time we were walking I was yelling at Takoda to go home. This particular day we walked down to Grandma & Grandpa Wilkins' house. When we went to go home after visiting with Grandma for awhile, Takoda was no where to be found.....Good.

Yesterday as we headed out again Takoda wanted to come. As I reached the last half mile from home a run down old van approached me going in the same direction and slowed down so the scary dirty old man can open the door and let me know he could give me a ride. I politely smiled and declined the invitation.

The entire time he was driving along side me, Takoda was going crazy and barking at the guy and stayed tight by me and the kids. (She usually walks ahead or ventures out to the sides) I had a feeling when I left home not to yell at her to stay.

Needless to say when I left this morning and she decided to walk with us I never said a peep. Taylor actually encourages her to come yelling out, "C'mon Ka!"

I was glad she was there.

I think she likes going on walks with us as much as myself and the kids like going.

A few times when we get home this is what the kids look like...

Have you ever read the book Good Dog Carl? It's a kid's book, check it out, you may have a Carl on your hands.

Those two look so adorable all strapped in and ready to go for a walk. I can't wait to be able to go for walks again, but we have to get a double stroller also, so it might be a little while. I'm glad that you had the dog with you. Isn't it funny how things happen for a reason? There was definitely a reason she went with you that day. I always take Bella with me when Jason isn't around. I don't think that she'd ever do anything, but I feel so much safer having a big dog walking next to me, and she loves going for walks anyway. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to push 2 kids in the stroller and hold onto a dog on a leash. It will be fun!!

AH!!! Scary. I'm so glad you had Takoda with you too! Maybe if you and your kids weren't so cute he wouldn't of been stocking you ;0).

p.s. there is NOTHING like a sleeping baby, but that pic captures two sleeping angels...can't get much better than that. That is just too precious. I love it.

That's a great stroller. Richie and his wife just got one for their two kids. I wish I would have had one when my kids were little. Rich and Giselle were 1 year and 10 months apart. Those strollers would have been handy. Scary story! You should buy some mace and have it with you when you're walking. I'm glad your dog was with you guys. Sayda
