Sick Little Household

The little flu bug has found our home. Yuck!

Taylor was up most of the night going at it (including ALL OVER the front of Troy and another time all over our pillows.) There were times that she was so tired and I was trying to keep her sitting up to get 'it' all in the bucket that she would puke, her head would go limp, then would stiffen up and she would continue! I felt so bad for her!

I ended up spending the night with her on her bedroom floor.
While we were cleaning up, changing pajamas, and making beds my nephew Braden was downstairs feeling just as bad! Luckily, he is a big boy and can make it to the toilet and change his clothes if need be! :)

Taylor continued to not be able to hold anything down this morning, but after her nap she was good to go! When she was pulled out of her bed she spotted the crackers that were sitting out from lunch and started going to town. She was feeling great...but me? Not so much! I was so tired and extremely nauseous that I felt like a bad Mom just laying around letting her watch tv all she wanted! We are all alive (and hopefully get a full nights sleep!)

Unless you want to experience the flu bug, no stopping by these parts of the world! :)

That is such a bummer! I hope you are all feeling well soon. It is so sad when little ones get the flu! Maddie had it really bad when I went into labor with Garen-and I had to leave her. Poor kids, and poor moms!

I don't think it's bad at all to let your child sit in front of the T.V. while you get some much needed rest and feeling better so you can continue on taking care of the fam! I remember when I got mastitis when Emi was about 7 weeks old (i think) and her and I just layed on the couch the WHOLE day, never moved and I felt so bad...then I realized what else was I to do? Em was right..poor kids, and poor moms!! :0) Hope your feeling better soon!!!

I am not looking forward to the first time Cooper gets sick. I am glad to hear Taylor is doing much better. I hope you are feeling better as well and that you guys all get to sleep tonight.
