Twin Bed??

My sister Gina from Canada and her family are in Utah this week...they are taking their 'baby' to the MTC on Wednesday and we are all going to go through the temple with him on Tuesday (Mt. Timpanogas...soooo excited about going there!). We are all crashing at my brother's in Payson, their house is pretty big so it's nice to just 'kick' their kids out of their room and actually have a room to yourself with your little one.

On to my point...
Last night after putting Taylor to bed I went to check on her a few hours later to find her screaming like crazy! I pretty much had to lay with her the rest of the night and she finally fell asleep around 1 or 2...it's all a daze!!!! So pretty much, I went to bed around 9:30 and really didn't get to sleep until then! A few times I decided just to put her back into the pack-n-play and let her cry it out, well she decided it was time for her to finally climb out of the bed last night. Well, kind of- she would climb up enough to get stuck on one side and end! It was so funny to see but frustrating at the same time!
Long story, lots of tears later we both were sleeping on the floor. The room we are staying in is my nieces and she has a twin bed and it's in the middle of the room so I was scared she would fall out...not to mention not alot of room to sleep comfortably! I woke up around 4 and left her on the floor and found the comfort of a bed!

As I was laying her down tonight, I covered all my bases as of what could have possibly been wrong...benedryl for the runny nose, teething tablets for the awful molars coming through and ear drops for the ear rubbing/lots of time outside in the wind. But again, at 9:30 she was up crying again! I was trying to let her cry it out while I was talking to Troy on the phone (Hi Troy!) but it didn't work, so I went to rescue her. As soon as I took her out and laid down with her she was pretty much out! I managed to sneak away with a few blankets and pillows blocking her in. Now where do I sleep??!!

Oh yea, I forgot to mention, today when I got her milk to lay her down for her nap I got distracted and knew Taylor was making her way downstairs. I went down a few minutes later to find her attempting to climb into (my other) nieces little twin bed! Maybe she is giving me a sign??

I don't EVEN want to think about her being in a big bed with the possibility of climbing out when she wants! :)

We are going through the same thing with Bentley. But there is no way he is getting moved to a big boy bed until he can get IN and out of it by himself.

that's hard! Maddie was about that age when she would just climb right out of the pack-n-play. Maddie was about 22 months when we put her in a twin bed (because we were given one). I was worried how she would do, but she loved it and stayed in there all night-she did fall out a lot the first few months-but it worked out. Good Luck!
