Trial Run

To help ease my nerves over the whole wedding things, I have done two trial runs on some of the things I have committed to do.

1. Melissa's hair (have never done an up-do before) and I was worried how it would turn out-

*Now I need to conquer mine! Aaahhhh! (Carrol, your ideas would be helpful! Hehe!)

2. Wedding Cakes! So scared they wouldn't turn out! There is one thing I need to do differently. I was too anxious to get the bow on top that I need them to harden longer so they will keep their form and not fold under the pressure of all the other loops. But overall, I think it turned out pretty cute.

Great Job Alisha! Melissa's hair looks way cute and that cake is amazing! There is no way I would be able to do that. How do you make those loops? Good Luck with the wedding stuff-it'll turn out wonderfully, specially with all your help!

So, um, I'm pretty much speechless. Alisha, were the heck do you get your talent?? Were you born with this amazing talent of craftiness (is that the right word ;0) ) or what?? The hair is amazing, the cake is amazing. Seriously, the hair do is so perfect for the wedding, and the cake...well, it's professional!!

I'm very impressed. She is so lucky to have you do so much for her, especially because it looks so perfect. Nice job!

Thanks girls!
Emily-
The cake and the loops are made of fondant. It was the first time I even touched the stuff! It is actually SUPER easy! You just have to make sure the fondant is nice and workable! :)

Carrol-
I have NO CLUE how I am going to do my hair. I might do something similar, but not for sure how ;0) I have found a couple of cute do's in some hair magazines, but can't decide which one will be cutest and easiest!

Hi there. I saw that you were helping a fellow blogger through shabby tulips and was wondering if you might be able to help me, too. I am having the same problem with my blog being shoved over to the right, instead of center. It looks fine on my computer, but not on others. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks, I appreciate your time. I think your blog is so cute. I love your header! aplaceforsarah.blogspot.com
