Well Baby Check Up

I knew I was in for a treat when Taylor fell asleep about five minutes before we get to the Doctor's office for her check up. She was pretty good in the waiting room, but when I had to strip her down to weigh her that was the end of all goodness! She calmed down after the nurse measured her and we took her to get weighed, but only if she was sitting on the table chewing on the paper or looking at herself in the mirror. She really started to cry when Dr. Klett was looking her over and was talking to me. The poor little thing may look a lot like Troy but she distinctively got three things from me... 1) Crazy toes 2) Big eyes 3) Big red blotchy eyes while crying! She looked so sad when I was leaving everyone probably thought she had some sort of disease or something!! She continued to cry about half way home (it's a good 20 minute drive) and then finally gave up, at this very moment she is still zonked out! While there I found out she weighs 17.0 lbs, 26 1/2" long, and I am not sure of the head measurement, but they said it's a little small for her age. On her weight she is average and she's a little short. I asked them for an early appointment next time...one that is not in the middle of her nap time! I can't believe she's 6 and 1/2 months already! She's growing up so fast!
