She danced 8 dances, so it's lengthy! It took forever to upload and I got one error.....so one dance may or may not have uploaded.  :)
My favorite dance is the Cotton Eye Joe.....their costume??? Not my fave!

Taylor Dance: Festival of Trees

Because I like to really sit and watch Taylor dance at her actual Christmas recital instead of behind a camera screen I recorded her dances this last week while she performed at the festival of trees.

She is a "Sugar Baby" this year (Competition team).  That includes 3 dances: jazz, tap & ballet.
Then she added an optional hip hop class (which she absolutely LOVES!)

Did you do the math? That is four dances.  Every time she performs we have 4 dances to watch.  Luckily her tap and jazz dance she is in the same outfit but switching out the shoes.  Changing into the three different outfits is crazy enough! :)

Twinners

I say this all the time:
Paige looks just like Taylor when she was younger.

It especially rings true when Paige is dressed in something Taylor use to wear....and we have a picture of it.....

Not that I am complaining how much they look the same: If the similarities continue to be the same I will know what Paige will look like in 6 years:

 It may be because I am her Mom, but she will be simply gorgeous (with totally unfair hair!)! :)

What's Wrong with this Photo

Parkers days of behaving at Taylor's dance practice every week has made it's way to zero. I have been leaving him home with Troy where he helps Troy fix wheel lines etc on the farm/run around at the shop.

This particular day he was being a turkey so Troy sent him inside. When I came home he was fast asleep on the couch.

{Easter 2012}

Happy Easter!

{Don't you just love Parker's smile???}

Our little family enjoyed a wonderful day at church, followed by lunch at my Mom & Dads then some kite flying....



and some tractor modeling...her idea :)


Pretty low key.
But the way we like it.

My kids have very little patience with me when it comes to pictures. Especially recently now that Paige is getting a lot heavier for Taylor to hold :)

{What About Me?}

I have been trying to work on Paige to smile a little more when I have the camera in my face:


After two pictures (not even lying! ONLY TWO CLICKS!) when attempting a third picture I ended up with this:

That was it. I was done. I knew I had way too many distractions to go on in my attempts. Maybe that is why Paige won't smile....she is too busy wondering when Big Sis & Big bro are gonna pop in???!!!!

4 Months

Oh how the time is flying by!
Four Months. I can't believe it.

Our 4 month pics went better than her 3 months. It probably had a little something to do with timing. This time I waited until AFTER her morning nap instead of right before :)

The little stinker is such a smiley little baby, but when I am trying to take her picture she refuses to smile! It could be she can't see my face! She hears me but all she sees is a camera and a big flash! :)


I had Parker stand next to me and talk to her and that did the trick!
Have you noticed what is the same in every picture?
She LOVES her fingers! She is always playing with them! Not to mention the front of her shirt is always sopping wet with drool!

And what's a photo shoot with out the other two always wanting to join in?

I made Taylor hold her hand out of her mouth! Don't you love Parker's face! hahha

After I was done with Paige I let Parker jump in-

And Taylor had to also-even though she is 1 day post surgery


Not much has changed since I last wrote about her. Maybe in a month I can add to the list :)
