Taylor has outgrown her car seat. She is tall for her age that her head was inches above the headrest on her old seat.
We went out this afternoon in search of a new one.
I let her pick it out.
This is what we left with.....
Yes, it's VERY pink.
But the entire drive home she kept telling me over and over how much she liked her new chair.
"I cool Tay Tay!"
Yes, Taylor. You are cool.

I Didn't Think This Purchase Through....

When it was time to "graduate" Taylor out of the infant carrier into a "bigger, forward facing" seat I didn't think it through very much. I LOVE this car seat, but when I bought it she was 10 months old, which made it winter time. I never thought ahead to summer time in it. I will start with the seat...it is mostly ALL black! Then there is the car...the Honda does NOT cool down very well at ALL! Before kids, Troy and I would DIE when we would get in it to go somewhere, and we were in the front seat with all the vents facing us! It takes forever to cool down and it feels like the air isn't coming out very strong when it is on MAX! You add the black car seat, the car, the BACKSEAT and you get one hot little chica! The poor girl is drenched in sweat by the time we get into town. Her hair is wet, the back of her shirt is soaked and her cheeks are so red! She is usually a pretty good kid in the car, but since the weather has turned nicer (it will only get worse too) she fusses the entire time we are driving...which probably doesn't help with the hot-ness. I feel bad for her. Maybe it is time to go through with getting the windows tinted or get the a/c looked at, like we have discussed for the past 4 years of marriage! :)

Who Crapped in My Seat?!?!?
I brought Taylor's carseat in the other day to wash it due to some "mousey" reasons. I know gross that they get into our car and climb in her chair but that is what we get for living where we do! Plus we thought we figured out how they were getting in and fixed it, but we didn't. Anyway, lately Taylor hates going into the carseat (especially if it is right after her being able to play outside!) she kicks and cries but quickly calms down when she realizes she is stuck and that we are going somewhere. With her attitude towards her seat it amazed me how much (and long) she played with it when it was in the house! She would just climb in it and sit there, just chillin'. I took so many pictures because she was making me laugh and I couldn't decide which one I wanted to post so I did them all! :)
I thank Troy for the title of this post, I couldn't think of a good one and he made me laugh with this one... except he didn't say "crap." :)
