Trying to Win

A few weeks back Troy and I made a little bet.
He wanted to be xxx amount of lbs. by the 4th of July.

Today is the final weigh in. Before church he had 3.5lbs to go.
After church he had 2lbs.

Now this is him, straight from church without any lunch.....
*Long Johns
*Sweat pants
*t-shirt
*2 sweaters
*1 stocking cap later



I think he is getting nervous.

Just like in High School. Wrestlers piling on the clothes running trying to sweat off some weight.

He has until midnight to get to his goal.
Stay tuned to see who wins :)

Troy won the bet. He was down on the treadmill for a good hour and managed to get 1.5lbs lighter than his goal.
Then after the weigh in, he ate lunch and drank a powerade only to be OVER the weight needed.
I lost on a technicality.

His clothes after he was done running was so GROSS! They were all just sopping with sweat and totally nasty.

But does he have to stay at that weight until midnight?

Or can he sweat it off and then start drinking water?

Done and done. The only bad thing is I could have quit a lot sooner. I lost an extra 1 1/2 pounds. I weighed in about 10 minutes ago and I bet I have put most of it back on already, but Powerade and lunch sure tasted like victory to me.

Keep the fork down. Maybe you could lose the weight for good.

Nikkala-I am with you, I think he needs to stay that way for more than 10 minutes, but he told me to stop making up rules. I am pretty sure after his weigh in he put ALL of it back on and probably more.....not fair. ;)
