9 Days Later

I don't read.

I seriously don't read. I never read a book in high school (unless it was a must) and the entire time I have been married to Troy I think I have only read about 2 books. We are going on 6 years in March.

I lied, I did read a few books back in the days with my dear friends Emily and Carrol. But that was because it was the 'cool' thing to do. :)

I don't know why I don't read. I just don't. In my spare time I clean, sew, make bows, do laundry, play with kids. You know that kind of fun stuff. Just not read.

The Saturday after Twilight came out in the theaters, my whole family (and I mean everyone-my Dad and Brother Jason took the little kids to see Bolt while the 'older' ones, minus Parker and Madison-they saw Twilight with their Mommies, went to Twilight). I loved it so much, that I decided to sit down and read the books.

Melissa had borrowed my Mom's copy of the first book so I had to wait a little to get started. My Mom delivered my VERY OWN cope of Twilight Last Tuesday night. I started reading last Wednesday afternoon and yesterday (Thursday) I finished the final book.

9 Days later. 4 Books (and they were BIG!) in 9 Days.

I was hooked, I just couldn't put them down!

Of course there was another run to the movie theater Last Saturday afternoon, after the first book was read to do my comparison since I 'truly' understood the story line now.

My Mom had also purchased the soundtrack and burned my very own copy for me to listen to. :)

Now I don't know what to do with myself.

Oh, I know-wrap Christmas presents, sew a baby blessing dress, make a few more scripture bags, clean the house that has been neglected for the past week and a half, get my sick family 100% healthy (everyone of us has a cold....I hate cold season), make a baby blanket and catch up on my tivo shows.

Oh and get some sleep :)

But it was worth it.

Well, if you're going to spend 9 days reading, Twilight is the series to read! It's kind of fun to escape into a make believe world for a few days every now and then. ;)
