Hundred Bucks & A Win

Tonight was a pretty good night. I spent most of the afternoon making another flower cake (similar to the one I made for Taylor's B-day) for our Stake's Blue and Gold Banquet. I was a little disappointed because the final product didn't turn out the way I wanted it too-I couldn't get my colors mixed right. Anyway, the banquet started at 6:00 and Troy and I had a volleyball game at 7:15 so we had to leave before the cakes were auctioned off. I told Kris Faux (Primary Pres.) to remember how much my cake went for. Kris calls and said it went for a hundred bucks! WOW! That makes me pretty happy. AND Troy and I's volleyball team FINALLY won our first SET all year! (Might I add we won on my block!) We should have won the third set but that is history. It was a pretty good night for me. :)

P.S. I would have taken a picture of the cake and posted it, but Troy took the camera the other day and hasn't brought it in from the pick up yet.
