Taylor is starting to really figure things out lately.
In the past whenever she was crying and upset, I would pick her up, talk to her a little and pat her back. Now when I pick her up, she starts babbling (like she's telling me all about it) and pats my back instead. :)
She has figured out the rolling pretty good these days. She hardly stays seated on her bum. As soon as I put her down to play on the floor she is instantly on her belly rolling around. This morning she was busy rolling around the living room floor-soon she was in the hallway, then Troy found her in our bedroom under our bed!! It's amazing how dirty a wood floor gets under a bed! I think she did a good cleaning for me ;)
Each morning as I am doing her hair she gets to sit on the counter in the bathroom. I don't think she really meant to figure this one out, but she did-the whole time I am putting her hair up she insists on turning the light on/off. It's a fun little game to play.
She loves the drain in the bathtub (not so much when she gets turned around and ends up sitting on it though). I think she likes playing in the tub just as much with no water than when there is water. She refuses to get out when the water is gone and splashes more when she hears it starting to drain. The other day in attempt to stay in the tub longer she shut the drain. When I would reach in and open it, she would shut it again-she's so much fun :) She can't get it open quite yet, but that doesn't mean she isn't trying when she's suppose to be getting clean!
