It was another rough night for little miss Taylor Jane. Only this time she didn't want Dad. Only Mom, so that means less sleep for me. I tried laying in Troy and I's bed with her but she did not want to be "held" but if I layed her in the crib she would scream. Around 12:30 (while Troy was trying to calm her down) I decide I am going to just break down and sleep with her in her room. Troy thought I was crazy as I pretty much dragged every spare blanket into her room. All piled up they made for a pretty comfortable bed for myself and baby. Taylor finally settled down about 1:30-after pulling my hair, playing with my eyelashes, drinking her bottle a few times and (again) awkwardly laying her head on my shoulder every now and then. Once she was asleep it was lights out. If I would have known she would have slept that well I would have left her there and went back to my own bed! I woke up a few times just making sure I wasn't laying on her or something and a little chilly. Even though I got cold I never took a blanket from underneath me for fear of disturbing the "princess." She slept until 9 a.m. That is a record for her! I actually slept until 8:30 causing me to miss my pilates class that started at 9-I would have never made it no matter how hard I tried! I am lucky to make it on time when she woke up at 7!!! She continued sleeping well through her afternoon nap, 2 1/2 hours of un-disturbed nap?!?! That (lately) is very rare! I can tell already the medicine is working and she is feeling a little better!
