The grass is getting greener on this side

Our yard officially has grass! We planted it and all, but Troy didn't want to "rake" it in like the grass seed bag said to so he was a little worried that it wouldn't come up. The rainy cold weather didn't help the first week either so when the past few days have been nice and sunny those little seeds started to grow! Not to mention some idiot thought our yard would be a perfect place to pull over in his beet truck incident. Yep, there is still stupid people out there driving! He almost got stuck and then just drove away. Troy flagged him down the next time he drove by and the only thing he could say was..."I don't speak english." Dummy! But my wonderful husband smoothed it back down and I am pretty sure he said he put more seed down. I don't remember what he said! But we now have rocks lining the front of our yard to prevent future door knobs.

True you may have to get real low and just run your hand across the top of the dirt, but it is there! I will take pictures as our little lawn grows! HAHAHA

*I give credit to my husband for the wonderful title of this blog!*
