Parkers days of behaving at Taylor's dance practice every week has made it's way to zero. I have been leaving him home with Troy where he helps Troy fix wheel lines etc on the farm/run around at the shop.
This particular day he was being a turkey so Troy sent him inside. When I came home he was fast asleep on the couch.
Aw, cute. {*click*}
Wait, what the? {*click*}
Do you see what is wrong with this picture (minus the dirty boy socks....)
Here, I will help you....
Guess it?
That would be his pants on backwards! :)
We probably should work on him dressing himself a little better :)

Little Man
This kid.
He makes me laugh. All the time. Yet he manages to drive me absolutely crazy at the same time.
I was going through some pictures on the CF card and came across these. We had just brought home some new kitties (I believe we brought home 4 and we currently only have 1 of those 4 still around!) Nothing screams "quite the character" than a nice hot pink headband!

Parker is constantly dressing up and saying the funniest things.

One night Troy and I were cleaning up dinner and Parker was still playing/hanging out at the kitchen table. He lets out a nice big toot. Instead of the "Excuse me" that should have been said Parker says, "Dad!"
He gets it from his Dad. :)
Because really, how could you not love this little face?? Messy with food and all!
Oh, and he also likes to run around in the nude. And thinks it's super funny....

Morning Conversation
Last night I went to the movie {New Moon....LOVED IT!}, as I was getting ready to leave Taylor asked me if she could come.
I told her no and that it was a little too scary for little girls. Her usual answer, "Why it scurry?" I went on to explain that it had wolves in it so she would be really scared of them. She was fine with me leaving after that.
This morning as she woke up and came into our bedroom this was our conversation,
"Mom?"
"Yes, Taylor" (still trying to get a few more minutes of sleep!)
"You see the movie"
"Yes"
"Did you have fun"
"Yes, Taylor it was really fun"
"Were you scurred of the wolves?"
"No, Mommy liked the wolves."
"Were they cute little baby wolves? Not big scurry ones?"
"No, they were big."
"I don't like that movie"
She turned and walked out of the room.
I love how she asked if I had fun and that she remembered that I went out with my friend, mom, sister and niece. She really is growing up right before my eyes!

I Stink
When my daughter 'passes gas' I am very consistent on asking her what she says.
Answer being, "Excuse Me."
She does fairly well with this.
The other day as I was sitting at the kitchen table, Taylor comes walking in announcing,
"I fart."
I asked her what she was suppose to say and her reply this time around was, "I stink."
I just had to laugh.
Fast forward a few days later and while doing warm ups at tumbling, the teacher was having them do butterflies. After a few seconds, she has them lean forward and 'smell their toes.'
Taylor didn't do it, so I told her she needs to smell her toes.
"No, my toe stink."
I didn't believe she stunk the second time around because she had a bath maybe an hour before class.
But I didn't force her forward to smell her stinky toes.

Let Go Baby!
Yesterday afternoon as I was going through Parker's closet (that kid is growing like a weed!) Parker was kickin' it in his bouncy seat.
Taylor was being her usual obnoxious self...stealing his toys off the seat, rocking him a little too hard, squishing his cute fat little cheeks, rubbing his little faux hawk down, smothering his face with kisses and rubbing her nose onto his.
I kept telling her over and over to leave Dude alone, but she continued to pester him.
After one particular face to face encounter, as she was backing away she started yelling,
"Let Go Baby Dude! Let go!"
I turn around to see Parker has a fist full of her beautiful blond a-line hair!
I think he had enough of her pestering!
I took my time prying his chubby fingers away from her hair.
She left him alone...
until this morning, then it was game on again.

Big Baby Dude Big!
The other day Taylor was playing with her jump rope. I was trying to get the dishes in the dishwasher and told her I would play with her in a minute.
She then asked, "Baby Dude play jump?"
I replied, "Baby Dude still too little, he needs to be bigger."
Her, "Oh Okay!" and runs off into the living room where he was sitting in his swing...
"Big baby Dude, Big!"
I don't think she understands it takes time to get big and that it won't happen when she demands it too.
When I was done with the dishes I went in the living room to find her playing with him anyway....

Yuck
Taylor took it upon herself to wake Parker up this morning. After I went in to save him from his big sister I proceeded to change his diaper.
As I opened the diaper, Taylor took one look at what was inside and yells out...
"Yuck! Baby Dude Yuck!"
Obviously, she is noticing he is a little boy.

Taylor See, Taylor Do
Right after I fed and put Parker to bed I walked into the living room & found Taylor doing this...

To think, it only took her 3 months of me feeding Parker for her to try it out.

Fearless?!?!?!
She may have been afraid of Troy's socks while on his feet, but when they are folded and on our bed waiting to be put away she is completely fearless..
And totally crazy!

Add It to the List

Taylor has some funny/crazy things in life that she FREAKS out about.
Canals
Lawn Mower
Swings
Car Wash
I totally can go on and on!
But this morning was one of the most hilarious ones...
Troy's socks!
She would freak every time she would go near Troy look down and see his socks! She would walk up to him, look down and slowly back away....maybe they were stinky?!?!?
As I was feeding Parker, she walks into his room blanket in hand and shaking I asked her if she was scared. She replied "Yes, Dada's socks"
I made him take them off.

Sneaky Stinker
One of Taylor and Troy's favorite thing to do is try to 'sneak up' and scare me.
Taylor gives it away as soon as Troy mentions sneaking up on me with laughs and squeals as they start their way towards me.
This afternoon as I was flipping through a book on the couch I heard Troy tell Taylor, "Let's sneak up on Mom."
Surprisingly, I didn't hear a peep come out of Taylor as they started crawling on the ground making their way around the couch towards me.
No squeals, no laughter.
Absolute silence...then I heard it.
One little stinker...then two...then three....
I busted up laughing and had to break the 'silence' and ask Troy which one of the two was letting the stinkers rip.
He blamed it on the baby.
:o)

Just Too Tired

You know your 2 year old woke up too early and played too hard all morning long when they can't even take more than 4 bites of lunch before they crash!

Conversation with a Two year old
Tonight Troy was getting Taylor ready for bed. Her 'usual' routine is potty, jammies, brush teeth, prayers then bed.
Troy was only on the potty part when he got distracted with something on the computer. He finally went in to get her off the toilet and I hear this conversation (not exact wording, but you will get the point).... *Note: Taylor has come to a fond liking of pulling the little plastic things off the bottom of the toilet seat top*
Troy: "Why did you pull those out?"
Taylor: "Ummmm"
Troy: "Where's the other one?"
Taylor: "There it is!"
Troy: Lets out a 'fear me, I am your father' "Aahhhh"
Taylor: "Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"
This video was taken a few weeks ago and she isn't doing her 'lion' arrrrr very well in it, but if you were me I can just picture Taylor roaring back at her father with her fierce little face all scrunched up!
I busted up laughing.

First Time For Everything....
When our dear sweet Taylor Jane turned two and started the potty training process I found myself thankful that I hadn't (yet) had to walk into her room to this...
I wasn't so lucky tonight!
I actually had just gotten done reading my scriptures, brushed my teeth, washed my face and was heading to bed to watch C.S.I.
I usually have Troy check on Taylor right before he comes to bed, but he was reffing some ball games tonight and I decided to just check on her since I was up and about anyway. :)
I walk into her room and INSTANTLY see 'stuff' all over her bedspread that is shoved clear down to the bottom of her bed with her all curled at the top of her bed. I turn on the hall light and lean in for a good look...
Yep, sure enough-she had pooped and found it 'FUN' to pull it out of her pull-up! Gross! Shortly after laying her down for the night I heard her laughing and playing in her bed, but this is not unusual.
Now I know why she was laughing.
She thought it was hilarious to pull out all the poop and then smear it on her bed!
She was pretty nice (yea right!) and kept most of the poop on the comforter so I was just able to roll it up and get it out of her room. She actually slept the entire time I was scrubbing down her head board and then barely woke up when I was undressing her, wiping her belly (and bum) down and getting her redressed.
But the entire time I am cleaning up her room just stinks like crazy! After all was clean and in fresh clothes I went to wipe her hands down and the poop will NOT COME OFF! No wonder it stunk so bad....it was caked on her little fingers, bad!
I have to take her into the bathroom and scrub her hands! THEN I had to cut her nails to get it all! What a mess!
And to think I thought I would be so lucky to not have to ever do that!
The safety pin is now back in place to keep the zipper to her jammies UP!

One Little Monkey Jumping on the Bed....
NAKED???!!!?!?!
Troy went into Taylor's room to get her out of bed and there she was totally nude and jumping around like a little monkey!
She has managed to get her pajamas unzipped and undo her diaper (which most of the time catches onto her jammies and is just hanging between her legs) but never has she managed to get everything off!
Maybe it's time to start safety pinning the zipper again! But hopefully in the next few months I can get her potty trained so I won't have to really worry about the 'pee' that ends up everywhere! :)

Funny Video!
For those of you that don't check Troy's Blog out, you would be missing out if you didn't!
He has posted a hilarious video (and some super cool pics he has taken lately!).
He finds some of the funniest videos and on the 'Woodnet' forum! Those wood worker people are quite the exploring funny guys! :)
(You want to choose the "linky goodness" text....he has lots of "More Pictures" options on there!)

Gotta Love it!
I just LOVE being able to stay home and see every little thing Taylor does through out the day! She still laughed so hard and this was the third time I rewinded it and played it for her!
(Sorry you hear me laughing too, I couldn't hold it in!!!)
