**Caution! Long post, with no pictures alert!**
Myself and the kidlings went to Payson this weekend for my sweet nieces baptism.
Troy wasn't able to go and neither was my brother in law so Melissa and I car pooled and followed with my parents.
On the way down there we stopped for lunch for ourselves and Little Parker T. While eating we decided that the weather was too cold and windy to go to the zoo like our original plan. So we opted to go to the Tree house museum in Ogden I read about on Emily & Sara's blogs.
The kids absolutely loved it! It was a good break for the long drive.
After the museum we went straight to my brother's house. After dinner and some chattin' we went to our hotel (all of my Sister in laws family plus ours made it too full of a house so we opted for a hotel room!)
I got Taylor ready for bed and then left her with my parents/Melissa while I went to my dear friend Carrol's. She got to meet little Parker and I got to get a lot of laughs out (Thanks for letting us come over Carrol!)
When I got back to the hotel room is when the 'fun' really started....
I adjusted Taylor (fast asleep might I add) and noticed she was BURNING up. I decided to wake her up to take some Tylenol. With that decision I woke up the beast and she was started screaming her head off! It took her a LONG time to finally settle down and fall asleep again.
She wakes up screaming again a little while later and I get out the ear drops and teething tablets (she said her teeth hurt the day before but she was acting like her ears were hurting so instead of trying to get her to calm down enough to communicate she got both)
She wakes up again screaming, this time when I am feeding Parker. Not only is she freaking out and wanting me to hold her so she gets even more upset that I can't because of the baby, he unlatches...burps....and spews all over me!
Seriously! Could this really get any worse!
She wakes up again but this time it is because she fell out of the bed and gets upset...this is at 4:00.
By 5:00 Melissa (also sick with a sinus infection and miserable!) and I decide to find a clinic and take her in! By 6:00 we are showering and getting ready for the long day ahead!
The instacare opened at 8:00 and we arrived around 8:30. As we pull in we see one car in the parking lot and I was so relieved that we weren't going to have to wait!
In and out by 9:00, double ear infection diagnosis later, lots of money out of my wallet, and a Rx in hand we were off to a pharmacy.
We ended up being 10 minutes late for the baptism (but my brother was sweet enough to have them wait for us!) After the actual baptism and the return to the room for the confirmation talk Taylor was actually smiling and playing on the floor. She stood up and tripped over her own feet and fell forward and hit her head on the chair.
I quickly grab her up (screaming of course!) and exit the room. As I am trying to calm her down in the hall I look at her and there is blood streaming down her face!
Really??!?! Are you kidding!?
The stake center was huge and the walk to the bathroom took forever! And with a crying child it seemed to take even longer!
After the baptism we were off to the park for some good food.
We didn't stay long because it was cold, the kids were getting tired and Melissa was feeling even worse.
We were both exhausted so I took the first shift driving. My shift was actually pretty peaceful, every one was napping so I called up my sister Gina and chatted with her to keep myself from napping! :)
Melissa's shift of driving wasn't quite as peaceful (mostly the last hour) because Parker was sick of being in his seat and starting to get a little gassy, Ashton was thirsty and wanted juice but all we had was water, and Taylor was just getting cranky!
Some gripe water helped my baby, giving Taylor her new blanket that I found while waiting for her Rx to be filled helped her calm down and fall asleep, but we weren't able to find any thing to help Ashton so he pretty much screamed the last 20 minutes.
Little trips like this is suppose to be fun.
Sadly, this was anything but! We did have our fun moments but the overall trip was really the trip from H**L! :) haha
I have some pictures from the museum and from visiting Carrol but nothing from the screaming night on. I am too lazy to get my camera from the diaper bag so this post was mostly just a rant about the miserable time I had.
Taylor did sleep all night last night and Parker only woke up once so I did get some good sleep, only to have to be to a meeting by 7:15.
Taylor lasted only through Sacrament and was throwing a huge fit when we took her to nursery so we took her home. The one week that we don't take two cars to church is the week we take a kid home (first time too!) so I just got all the stuff done that I needed to get done and went home with the family. Troy was kind enough this afternoon to tend after Parker so I could get a good nap in! Thanks Troy!
I am glad I was able to attend my nieces baptism, but if I would have know how much screaming I was going to hear and how exhausted I would get I would have opted to stay home....
Hope you are feeling better Melissa!

Chuck E. Cheese's

Saturday morning my Mom, Melissa, her 3 kids, myself and Taylor all loaded into my parents van and went to Boise. The reason behind this trip was for my nephew Zayne's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's.
At first I wasn't going to go due to a Primary presidency meeting that was planned, but I keep Taylor inside ALOT due to the deathly cold air outside, I am getting to the point where my doctor will soon tell me not to travel, and so I figured it would be good for us to go. :)
We were well stocked on DVD's, food, drinks and toys to play with....we just need to bring bed pans next time!! Just kidding! But between my pregnant self and the little 4 year old Landon we made alot of potty breaks!
When we got to Boise I thought for sure Taylor's diaper would be pretty full and Melissa planned on Ashton's being the same, but no....they were both dry as a bone! The ones that actually 'could' go in their pants didn't! :)
It's always great to see Zayne since he only visits my brother every other weekend (he lives in Boise with his Mom) and it was a good change for me!
After some pizza, games with Chuck E. Cheese himself, and cake it was time to hit the games!
At first Taylor was very timid to do anything, but as soon as she figured it out there was no stopping her! She loved anything with a steering wheel, but her absolute favorite was the huge Clifford the dog ride! Of course she is a 'non' motion baby so I didn't have to put any tokens in the ride, she was perfectly content just sitting on them (I tried one ride with a token, she stayed away from that at all times after that!).
Having my nephew's party there they provide you with so many tokens per kid so we had tons of tokens to get rid of! I soon figured out that Taylor liked to put the token in the game, I would play it, then she would collect all the tickets afterwards.
She loved trying to copy all the 'dancers' on this dance machine too!
After all the fun at Chuck E. Cheese's we headed over to Mervyn's to do a little shopping. Then it was time for a joyous ride home....quite the ride, but I am not going into details!
I was worried that Taylor wouldn't want to go to bed when we got home due to her nap on the way back, but I let her play with Dad for a little while then she went down for the night without a fight! I wore her out doing so much in one day!

Clothes!
We got our luggage back this morning! Hooray for having all our stuff back! I was however a little irritated because all of my ziploc bags containing my mouse/hairspray etc was left open (by airline employees) and now alot of my stuff is covered in nasty hair supplies! I put them in the bags to prevent something like that from happening! At least they were seperate from all of mine and Taylor's clothes! :) At least we only went without for about 12 hours if that!

We Made it-

Well, we made it to Canada safe and sound. VERY VERY tired, but we are here. The day started pretty early...5 o'clock to be exact! Taylor was surprisingly not very grumpy for going to bed 3 hours past her usual time and waking up WAY too early!
Instead of checking in the car seat my sister and I decide to carry it through the airport, just in case there is that chance the plane won't be full and we will be able to take it on and strap her in it. Actually, we hardly carried it...my Dad did! First flight was full and it was almost 4 hours long! Taylor slept about the first hour and a half, so any thing that would keep her from whining she could play with! She could tell when my patience was getting thin with her because she would start playing peek a boo with her blanket or giving me kisses. How could I resist that cute little girl! It didn't help that we sat next to the Mr. Grumpy Head himself. He never said one word to us and acted like Taylor was going to take his stuff away every time she sat on Melissa's lap. Grouch! He probably doesn't have kids of his own.
Once we arrived at JFK we pretty much had to RUN to the next gate to board our next flight. Of course my Dad was so nice and hauled the huge car seat through the airport for me. We were totally lucky on this flight because we were able to pull it on board and strap the little one in. As soon as we started taking off, she closed those sweet eyes and I never heard a peep from her until we landed. Then it was nothing but whining! She woke up so grumpy!
When we get off the flight we stop in the rest room and I change her diaper and her much needed clothes. She had thrown up a little during our mad dash to the second plane and had cheese and crackers all over her shirt. Amazing what a clean outfit can do!
We meet my sister and nephew, give hugs then make our way to the baggage claim. We wait and wait and wait for 6 suit cases, but end up with ONE! Our luggage is lost! "Delayed" is what the airline calls it. And out of me, Melissa, Mom and Dad the one that gets to wear clean underwear and fresh clothes is my DAD! My sister was smart and had travel size carry on's of pretty much everything she needed, my mom had pajamas and Taylor and I HAVE NOTHING! Minus a diaper bag, laptop, and her puked on dirty clothes! Good thing we hauled around the heavy car seat or we would have been in trouble! Not to mention, my "blanket" was stored in the car seat bag, along with 6 bags of cinnamon bears for Gina (she can't get them here in Canada, so I hooked her up) Hooray for having my blanket! :P
As we were driving (very hungry, I might add...breakfast was a joke and no lunch was served on the flight and no time between to eat) we pass a Target...Mental note, must stop!
I usually can find TONS of clothes I like and fit for me, but not today! I left with just the much needed tooth brush and other toiletries. Taylor got a couple outfits, one pair of jammies, diapers, and wipes. Good thing Gina and I are about the same size! I get to raid her closet, hehehe.
Airline says they will deliver our bags within 24 hours, we'll see. I knew this trip was off to a bad start! Can only get better right?
Sorry this is like a novel, but we had a very eventful day. Taylor fell asleep on our drive across the border (p.s. never had to show the notorized note!), never woke up while I got her ready for bed and is peacefully sleeping! Hopefully it is peaceful for a good sleep in for me :)

Things are looking up!
It is now a waiting game. Everything is packed, NO jury duty (hurray!), house cleaned, note signed and Taylor is feeling like herself again (she actually went right back to sleep and slept all night...), and goodbyes are said to Troy.
Now we wait for my parents to pick us up then it is off to SLC. Our flight is bright and early in the morning! I feel alot better about leaving on this trip now that things have fallen into place! :) BYE for now!

Can't Wait
So, our lovely daughter just woke up with major projectile vomit, I can't find the notarized note from Troy (in order for me to cross the border with Taylor), I am only half packed and I never heard back about jury duty. I can't wait for this trip....to be over! Hopefully once we start going things will get better.
