Famous Last Words

Troy is a very well intentioned pack rat.

He finds items and (his famous last words!) says "I can sell this!"

But never does.
The item(s) then get shoved somewhere in our home.

Repeat 100x. (LOL)

Well, he finally did it.

He gathered up (A TON) his valuable 'junk' and added

{Sneak Peek} for Emily! :)

One of my best friends from High School was in town this last week and I was lucky enough to take some pictures of her cute little family! I have one more picture I want to edit before I send the 'keepers' her way, but here's a sneak peek for you Emily! :)


Little Garen didn't want his picture taken at all, but we finally got him to stand in the general area "Searching for Treasure" in the trunks!

Maddie was a pro! While we were trying to get the two younger ones to cooperate we were taking pictures of Maddie, we only had to take 3 or 4 shots in each pose and we were done. She is just so dang cute!


Of course, Taylor was more than willing to sit down and get her picture taken (of course! The day we DON'T want to get some pictures of her!!) I think we have more pictures of Maddie and Taylor together then we do of Maddie with her little brother!
Taylor loved playing with Maddie and was so sad when we wouldn't let her bring her upstairs to play with her! Then again a little sad when they left! I wish they lived closer!

Easter Pictures 2009

After naps, food in our bellies and a session of Conference, Troy and I got the kids bathed and ready for some pictures.

Troy wasn't behind the camera today! He was MY assistant instead of me being the assistant :)
I will learn how to set up all the lights and get the camera settings perfect....someday!

Taylor doesn't like getting her picture taken and wasn't very cooperative, but we got a few shots of both kids and some of them together.









While I was doing Parker's hair, Troy did take these two pictures of Taylor, which turned out to be the best ones of her for the day! Mostly, because they were the first three snaps and then she was done will all the picture fun. :)

These two kiddos are just so dang cute.....but then I am a little biased. ;)

P.S. Like Taylor's cute little Polka dot belt?!?!? The belt that came with the dress was just a matching green that blended in, so I made her a cute new one! LOVE the contrast it brings to it! :)

4 Weeks!

Little Parker is 4 weeks old!




Time flies when you are running on very little sleep! ;)
I convinced Troy last night to set up our 'studio' and get some pics of the little guy.

He had a Doctor's appointment today (even though I got the days messed up and it was suppose to be MONDAY! Ooops, good thing the office was nice and worked us in!)

Weight: 8 lbs. 13 oz. (10-25%)
Length: 21" (25-50%)


We tried to get some pictures of the Taylor with him, but she wouldn't sit still (surprising!) and couldn't even be bribed with holding the 'baby' to sit still. Troy did manage to occupy her enough with some flowers for some individuals...

P.S. Yes, in the nude pics he DID manage to pee all over me, but they are cute pics so worth it (somewhat....)

2 Year/ Valentine's Photos

This evening Troy and I tried getting some more pics of Taylor.
This time with ALOT more success!

I made her the cute little tutu while she was napping (which ended up being too big around the waist so it turned out good that we got some good sitting shots!)

You can tell in some of the shots her mouth is full of our 'bribery' m&m's (I would hide them in the flowers!)...at least she sat still!

Photo Shoot

Now that we don't have a 19 year old occupying our basement, Troy has moved the bed and set up a little 'mock' studio.
We tried the other day to play/get some pictures of Taylor but she wouldn't hold still AND she thought her little pink poodle needed to be in the picture too! That little pup is her new best friend....next to her shopping cart that is always full of 'goodies.'



Maybe we will get some good pictures...next time we try.

Engagement Photos

My brother Jason is getting married in September. I volunteered my "photographer" hubby to help them out and take their engagement pictures. So last night we dropped off all the kidlings at my parents and went to work! ;)

Here are just a few of the ones that were favorites and that we (and I mean Troy) did some photoshop techniques to! There is still more to work on-

This one below is my favorite! Who would have guessed all the old storage/grain bins in Declo would picture so nicely! :)
